Christian Dior haute couture Spring 2012 is possibly starting to look more like the venerable fashion house once again. There was not a lot of new ground broken here per se, but at least it wasnt the horror of Gaytten’s first collection.

All about transparency, X-rays, sheers and layers, nearly every look was black and white.

Karlie opened the show with this lovely white organdy dress embroidered with black roses.

I happen to love the white poetry floating along the hem in millions of stitches on Vlada’s dress.

And then there is the new, New Look, shown here on Alina with the belted peplum top and full skirt.

The two looks on the bottom are where things started to get more experimental- with varying degrees of success.
