This is Fashion.

…sort of.

1. GILT (which I’ve been hating on lately) layed off 80-90 employees. They are closing offices in six cities and generally shrinking operations. My heart goes out to those peeps who got cut, but maybe this will be a wakeup call to GILT which has been totally sucking lately. (click here for more info)
2. Ooooh so now it makes sense why theviesociety is no longer tumbling.
3. “Mr. Louboutin believes he’s an artist. He’s not a cobbler and we agree.” So said Loub’s lawyer at the hearing to determine last spring’s verdict in favor of YSL would stand or proceed to appeal. DVF showed up at Loub’s side, wearing “gold-rimmed aviators and a long black sparkly knit sweater over an off-white turtleneck and black skirt”. Whatever, I’m still siding with YSL on this one.
