This reminds me a bit of the interiors in the first few scenes of Charade with Hepburn/Grant where she returns from ski holiday to find her apartment in Paris absolutely empty. The space is all beautiful paneled walls with gorgeous woodwork and gilt hardware. I was obsessed with that when I first saw the movie as a kid, and it’s still one of my all-time favorite interiors.
