Looking at Sophie Theallet’s Spring 2013 collection in my weekend NYFW catch-up session, I regret not having gone to the show this season.

I got impatient because I felt like so many of the dresses she showed were similar for three seasons running. So I skipped it.

And boy did I miss out (not only on that nip slip) because Theallet showed one of her most interesting collections to date. I loved her plays with transparency (the lilac cardigan tucked into the white organza skirt in the first set of looks was genius) and she used some great patterns, while sticking with the color palette that is her signature- persimmon, teal, deep magenta.
