Feeling Dark and Romantic for next Spring? Haider Ackermann’s collection is the answer.

The designer showed new versions of his signature silhouettes in jackets and trousers, with hint of the asian styling (on the jacket cuts and obi’s) we’ve seen everywhere for the season. Polka dots in black and white are given the sort of treatment you wouldn’t usually associate with a print so femme/retro/prim. Ackermann mixes dots of different scales and layers them in ways that make me tingle. The colors were dark and minimal- black, grey, deep teal, white, and a deep warm russet brown here and there. The layering he showed was perfection, but then again so were the most simple black dresses. (Images via Style.com)
