More Karlie for Vogue… looking a bit like this, no? Which is really one of my favorite editorials of all time btw.
Lara Stone by Mario Sorrenti for Vogue Nippon November 2011.
So I guess bondage and harnesses are still a thing.
Lara Stone for Vogue Nippon in Givenchy.
It’s like they knew November is my birthday month and wanted to give me a cover with some of my favorites in models, florals and designers!
Ashley Smith by Miles Aldridge for Vogue Italia, and at right Lara Stone by Mikael Jansson for Interview. Exhibit C.
And by the way I think the comparison still counts even though Lara did recently dye her hair (an unfortunate decision in my opinion).
Ashley Smith by Miles Aldridge for Vogue Italia, and at right Lara Stone by Mikael Jansson for Interview. Exhibit B.
So what’s funny is I looked at these photos today and thought wow, that seems familiar.
Busty blondes with spaces between their front teeth modeling swimwear accessorized with blow-up plastic animals. Seems sort of specific and niche, right?
Well, at left we have Ashley Smith by Miles Aldridge for Vogue Italia, and at right Lara Stone by Mikael Jansson for Interview. Exhibit A.
Interesting.
Lara Stone+Inez and Vinoodh+Vogue China
one of my favorite color stories for spring. get ready because we’ll see it a lot.
the pantone names for those colors are approximately “surf the web” blue and “jelly bean” green.
also, i really like this photograph. good balance, light and composition. i’m not usually a huge fan of the inezvinoodh but i do love me some lara, and this situation really worked out well!
